Tourism is a significant channel for promotion of intangible cultural heritage.  Through integrating with tourism, intangible cultural heritage could not only be “seen”, but also “innovated” throughout the progress of inheritance.  This provides impetus for intangible cultural heritage to grow and prosper, as well as to complement with tourism for better development of both industries.

In order to reinforce the interaction and cooperation of China and Hong Kong in its intangible cultural heritage protection, the exhibition is therefore established to display the rich and profound Chinese culture and to substantially let the traditional culture assimilate into daily life.  The exhibition is also committed to promoting traditional culture and folk arts for the general public and future generations to have a more thorough understanding of Chinese culture.

 

為加強中國與香港在文化保育領域的交流與合作，展現中華民族豐富多彩的文化資源，積極推動將傳統文化融入日常生活當中，展會目標推廣、傳承、發揚傳統文化和民間藝術，讓普羅大眾以及下一代能進一步認識中華文化。
